How to download picture and Video to PC ? |
| |
|
Some
mode support PC Camera function ( TX300 / TX400 /
TX410 / TX500 / TX530). Before download or view DSC
picture or video clip, please make sure the DSC SETTING
and have set it to correct mode : TX300 / TX400 set
the [PC Mode ] to [ Storage ].
TX410 / TX530 set the [PC Mode] to [DSC].
TX500 set the [USB] to [DSC]. When DSC connect to PC,
in [My Computer] will add a removable disk and its
function as the same as an hard disk or card reader.
Then you can download pictures from this disk. |

Make
sure have install drivers from driver CD complete
and without any error message.Plug USB cable in DSC
and connect to USB port in PC.If that is this PC
the first time using USB device, Windows will show
[detect a new hardware device......] message and
start to install device driver. If nothing happen,
please check the mother board BIOS setting of PC
and set the USB port [Enable]. |

How to install driver ? |

Driver
include to parts:
1. Use as a removable disk [DSC] for download picture.
2. Use as a PC camera if has sopprt this function.
Removabel Disk DriverˇGdepend on different Windows version
to install different driver. Referenc table list as

Web
CamˇG Any
Windows version must install Web Cam driver. Don't
connect DSC to PC before driver install complete.
When drivers have installed and restart PC then connect
DSC to PC. If you can't make sure which driver need
to install, the best way is just put the driver CD
in CD-ROM. Then it will detect Windows version and
install necessary drviver automatic. Direct X 8.x
support by Microsoft®. Except Windows XP is 8.x
already, others must istall or upgrade it to 8.1
or above. |

TX410
Install Guide for download pictures from DSC to PC
: Regarding
TX410 install problem, please follow this check guide
as below step by step first. If the problem still remain,
please respond any different or problem you found.
Then I can try to understand your situation and find
the solution.
1. Switch the [Mode Dial] to [DSC Setup Mode].
2. Press left or right button of [five-way Switch] to [PC
Mode].
3. Make sure has set it to [DSC] mode.
4. When TX410 plug into PC, the Windows will show a message
as "Detect a new hardware device.....". If nothing
happened and you have never used any other USB device before,
please check the main board BIOS setting. Make sure the
USB port was set to Enable.
5. In My Computer, you can find a " Removable Disk " or
"200_CAMERA" (for Win XP) mass storage device
then you can find the pictures in [DCIM \ 200D-CAM].
6. If can not find this additional disk driver, check Device
Manager, if you see any unknown device, let know. I will
check it.
Notice: Regarding how to check and setting it, because
the operation of BIOS setting has not a standard procedure
depend on main board manufacture designed. Therefore I
can't tell you how to do it. Please ask computer engineer
will be better if you can't do it by yourself.
How to get into and check [Device Manager]:
From Start \ Settings \ Control Panel. In Control Panel
dialog, click [System] icon then show [System Properties].
Press [Hardware] label and click [Device Manager...] button
in [Device Manager] then the [Device Manager] dialog will
appear.
Regarding Driver install:
DSC Driver :
TX410 do not need DSC driver for Windows Me, 2000 and XP.
Only Windows 98 must install DSC driver.
PC Camera Driver :
All of Windows version need to install this driver.
DirectX :
Windows 98, Me and 2000, upgrade DirectX to version 8.1
or above. Windows XP don't need to upgrade it.
Download picture to PC :
1. You can download picture from [My Computer] directly.
When TX410 connect to PC, it will become as a disk and
you can copy picture to hard disk from here.
2. If you want to open pictures form 'Photo Impression',
press [Get \ from file]. Then press [Browse...] and click
[Removable Disk (or
"200_CAMERA" for Win XP) \ DCIM \ 200D-CAM].
With Memory Card:
If you have used the SD card, please take out the SD card
and take picture use the build-in memory. If you can download
pictures from DSC to PC, we can make sure the DSC and PC
can work fine without any problem. But if it can't download
pictures when you insert the SD card, it probably is the
compatibility issue with the SD card. You can change to
other brand SD card.
TX410
Install Guide for as a Web Cam: Regarding
how to use TX410 as a web cam problem, please
follow this check guide as below step by
step first. If the problem still remain,
please respond any different or problem you
found. Then I can try to understand your
situation and find the solution.
1. Check the DSC setting "PC Mode" and
make sure set it to "PC CAM".
2. When TX410 plug into PC, the Windows
will show a message as "Detect new
hardware device. If non, please check
the main board BIOS setting. Make sure
the USB port was set to Enable.
3. Check Device Manager, if you see any
unknown device, let know. I will check
it.
4. In My Computer, you can find a " Digital
Camera, WDM Video Capture " device.
You can click it direct then you can
see image from a video window.
Regarding Driver install:
DSC Driver :
TX410 do not need DSC driver for Windows
Me, 2000 and XP. Only Windows 98 must
install DSC driver.
PC Camera Driver :
All of Windows version need to install
this driver. During install procedure,
sometime will show a error message said
can't find some file (CA533A.INI). Please
appoint to [CD:\Driver\Drivers\PcamDriver]
folder.
DirectX :
Windows 98, Me and 2000, upgrade DirectX
to version 8.1 or above. Windows XP don't
need to upgrade it.
TX520
Install Guide for download pictures
from DSC to PC : Regarding
TX520 install problem, please follow
this check guide as below step by step
first. If the problem still remain,
please respond any different or problem
you found. Then I can try to understand
your situation and find the solution.
1. When camera plug into PC, the
Windows will show a message as
"Detect a new hardware device.....".
If nothing happened and you have
never used any other USB device
before, please check the main board
BIOS setting. Make sure the USB
port was set to Enable.
2. Normally, In My Computer, you
can find a " Removable Disk
" as a mass storage device
then you can find the pictures
in [DCIM \ 100MEDIA].
3. If Windows have shown "Detect
a new hardware device.....".
but still can't find a additional
disk in [My Computer]. Check [Device
Manager], if you see any unknown
device, let know. I will check
it.
Notice: Regarding how to check
and setting it, because the operation
of BIOS setting has not a standard
procedure depend on main board
manufacture designed. Therefore

/ TX5100Z Install Guide for download pictures
from DSC to PC : Regarding the
DSC install problem.
1. Make sure the DSC driver and DirectX
8.1 have installed completely.
2. If you have not used any USB device
before, make sure Windows 98 has shown
[New hardware device detect] message
when TX5500Z plug in USB port. If not,
check the USB port setting in main board
BIOS and set it to Enable.
3. When DSC plug-in PC, you can find
one more disk driver in My Computer.
Then you can download picture from this
disk.
Download picture to PC :
1. You can download picture from [My
Computer] directly. When DSC connect
to PC, it will become as a disk and you
can copy picture to hard disk from here.
2. If you want to open pictures form
